G: Kemba Walker, Charlotte Hornets, $15,974

The Charlotte Hornets are fighting for their lives to remain in the playoff race in the Eastern Conference, and Kemba Walker is a main reason why. In his last game, he went for 47.75 fantasy points against the Celtics. They take on the Pistons tonight who could be without Reggie Jackson. If that happens, consider Walker an elite guard. He’s averaged just over 31 fantasy points per game over the last five, which isn’t spectacular, but still appealing because of the potential.

C: Andre Drummond, Detroit Pistons, $18,079

Staying with that Charlotte-Detroit game, Drummond has been an elite center in both cash games and tournament play recently with the injuries due to Greg Monroe. He’s averaged 43.7 fantasy points over the past five games and he’s collected 76 rebounds over that span. Al Jefferson will have his work cut out for him trying to defend Drummond. You can safely play him in any format.

Value Play

G: Zach LaVine, Minnesota Timberwolves, $8,339

LaVine looks like he will be forced back into a starting duty with Ricky Rubio and Kevin Martin both expected to miss the game. Last game, LaVine went for 31.75 fantasy points against the tough, defensive minded Utah Jazz. He gets to face the Raptors tonight who are banged up themselves. LaVine should easily eclipse 40+ minutes, and he only needs 21 fantasy points to hit value.
