C: Anthony Davis, New Orleans Pelicans, $24,712

This has been a trying year for Davis. At multiple points this season, he has been dominant. He scored 75 fantasy points just 10 days ago. However, he has also missed 14 games this season fro various injuries. The Pelicans are clawing for their playoff lives. If they have any chance, they need to rely on Davis. In two previous match-ups versus Houston, he’s averaged 43.25 fantasy points and the Rockets are quite short-handed right now. No Dwight Howard and No Terrence Jones should mean Davis will been huge.

F: Nerlens Noel, Philadelphia 76ers, $14,157

Let’s face it: The Sixers are a bad team. They will continue to be a bad team until their players pan out. However, if they pan out like Noel, they might be really exciting to watch. Over his past five games, he’s averaged 32 fantasy points per game. Before that, his average was even higher. The Sixers take on the Nuggets, who are absolutely terrible against the big men. I know the Sixers played last night, but that shouldn’t affect his playing time.

Value Play

G: C.J. McCollum, Portland Trail Blazers, $3,994

McCollum stepped in last night with all the injuries to the Blazers and filled in very nicely, scoring 25.75 fantasy points in 29 minutes. The Blazers played last night, meaning he should see more minutes between the time shares of Damian Lillard and Arron Afflalo. They take on a slower paced Jazz team that plays excellent defense so I expect the total should be a lot lower than last night against the Warriors.
