F: LaMarcus Aldridge, Portland Trailblazers, $20,108

Aldridge draws one of the best match-ups on the night against a poorish Magic frontcourt. Orlando is expected to be without Tobias Harris and Dewayne Dedmon, meaning Nikola Vucevic will be left to log multiple minutes. Orlando is one of the worst teams in offensive and defensive rebounding, so Aldridge should be able to hit double-digits. He’s coming off a 48.5 fantasy effort last game and he shows no signs of slowing down.

C: Hassan Whiteside, Miami Heat, $15,264

Whiteside is a guy I’ve actually been avoiding the last couple weeks. From injuries to suspensions, Hassan hasn’t been the guy he was before the all-star break. His salary has actually dropped over $1,000 the last couple weeks, but that’s because he just hasn’t hit the value needed. Tonight, he draws the Nuggets who are the eighth worst team at defending the center position. The last time these teams played, Whiteside only played six minutes. I can guarantee he will eclipse that.

Value Play

G: Justin Holiday, Golden State Warriors, $4,387

Holiday will most likely draw the start again at the guard position for an injured Klay Thompson. He’s been streaky at best, going for 15.25, 9, 21.5 and 27.75 fantasy points over the past four games. The Warriors opponent, the Pelicans, are quite injured meaning this game could turn into a blowout. Guys like Steph Curry, Draymond Green and co. could take a seat and let players like Holiday shine.
