Jesus Guzman is a first baseman and outfielder for the San Diego Padres.  The Mariners signed him to a contract in 2000.  He also played for the Giants, before signing with San Diego in November of 2010.

For his career, Guzman is hitting .269, with 19 home runs and 110 RBIs.  In 2013 he has a .244 average, with 5 home runs and 18 RBIs.

He took over 1st base duties when Yonder Alonso hit the DL.

He is hitting .300 away from San Diego, including all 5 of his home runs this season.  His OPS is 100 points higher vs. righties.
